Parish Church of St. Stephen the First Martyr- It was built on the site of an older Romanesque church, which is believed to have been built on the foundations of an ancient basilica. The church was built from 1580 to 1614, according to the designs of the famous Venetian builder Andrea Palladio, and got its present appearance at the end of the 18th century. As soon as you peek through the door of the church you will see its architectural splendor and richness of paintings, and in the church there is also a rich sacral inventory. Among the most significant sacral objects in the church's sacristy are the Altariolo Colleoni, a portable altar from the famous Battle of Lepanto between the Holy League and the Ottoman Empire, and the Holy Thorn - a thorn from Jesus' crown.
